Following a decision by the California Public Utilities Commission, PG&E residential customers will now have the option of choosing analog gas and electric meters instead of digital SmartMeters™.
In this video interview, Helen Burt says that PG&E welcomes the decision and will immediately begin working with customers who prefer analog meters. Burt, a PG&E senior vice president and chief customer officer, also talks about how millions of the company’s customers already are benefiting from their SmartMeters™.
