A group of Russian energy-sector leaders and government officials visited PG&E’s San Francisco headquarters on March 2 to learn about the smart grid.
The visit was coordinated by the U.S. State Department’s International Visitor Leadership Program. The group was here to learn about technology and innovation.
After a brief presentation on how adding communication capabilities to the electric grid will help provide useful information to utilities and their customers, PG&E’s Kevin Dasso answered questions from the visiting delegation.
“We always welcome the chance to share our learnings and best practices with other energy professionals,” said Dasso, PG&E’s senior director of smart grid and technology integration.
