The institute was especially impressed by PG&E’s ability to work with union leadership to design a single health plan for all employees that provides incentives for preventative care and wellness.
“We’re pleased to be named the recipient of the 2014 IBI Health and Business Performance Award and to share the results of our health and wellness programs to the broader community,” said Maria Henderson, PG&E’s senior director of workforce health. “These programs coupled with our strong union partnership have helped us improve worker safety and overall health.”
