Track Our Journey: PG&E Travels Cross-Country to Restore Hurricane Irma Damage

On Sept. 8, about 125 PG&E personnel, including IBEW Local 1245 line workers, equipment operators, supervisors and support personnel, flew from California Florida to assist with the response to Hurricane Irma.

A long line of Florida Power & Light trucks await deployment for PG&E crews to restore power to Floridians amid the destruction of Hurricane Irma.

After waiting out the dangerous weather, they got to work three days later. Their goal is the same as for our customers: Providing safe and quick restoration to help lives start returning to normal.
