PG&E ‘Eyes in the Skies’ Help Detect, Report Nearly 150 Fires

Daily air patrols began in June and ended Oct. 31. The PG&E patrols spotted 146 fires and in 25 instances were the first to report them to Cal Fire or the U.S. Forest Service allowing the agencies to respond quickly.
