CURRENTS WEEK IN REVIEW: DEC. 29, 2014-JAn. 2, 2015

SECOND MAJOR DECEMBER STORM HITS STATE THIS WEEK, PG&E PrepareD WITH RESTORATION RESPONSE

PG&E crews worked around the clock to safely restore service to customers and repair damage after a powerful wind storm hit Northern California this week. Wind gusts of up to 70 miles per hour caused vegetation and other debris to bring down power lines, damage equipment and interrupt electric service in the second major storm to hit in December. PG&E had more than 1,500 people in the field and in emergency centers devoted to this week's storm response so that customers could celebrate the start of the new year.

Currents covered this story and more this week.
