PG&E HELPING TO ENSURE SAFETY BY REMOVING DEAD TREES IN FOREST AREAS DURING DROUGHT
California's ongoing drought has taken a toll on the state's forests. In the Madera County community of Bass Lake, trees have been weakened by lack of water and are dying in large numbers because of bark beetle infestations. These dead trees can become threats to the community when they fall, they can cause power outages or become fuel for fires. As this video shows, PG&E is going to great lengths to help safely remove dead trees to protect the public and electrical infrastructure.
