PG&E's COMMUNITY SOLAR CHOICE PROGRAM WILL GIVE CUSTOMERS A GREEN OPTION IN 2015

This week, PG&E received permission from the California Public Utilities commission to offer its electric customers a new clean energy option: The chance to buy all of their electricity from solar projects in the utility's local service area. This new option, expected to be available later this year, provides a solar alternative for green-minded customers who want to help the environment.

The Napa Chamber of Commerce recently honored PG&E with its Large Business of the Year Award noting the utility's unprecedented response following the Aug. 24 Napa earthquake. PG&E crews worked tirelessly to restore power and ensure the Napa community received safe, reliable gas and electric service.

PG&E Helped Swap 3 Million Gallons of Gasoline for Cleaner Natural Gas in 2014

PG&E's 24 Compressed Natural Gas fueling stations provided the equivalent of 3 million gallons of gasoline to thousands of natural gas vehicle customers in 2014. It's just part of PG&E's commitment to help customers minimize carbon footprints and reduce California's dependency on foreign fossil fuels.
