NEW LIGHTS ON TOWERS ALONG SAN MATEO BRIDGE WILL HELP PILOTS FLYING OVER THE SAN FRANCISCO BAY

The 15 electric towers alongside the San Mateo Bridge, which stretches seven miles between Hayward and Foster City, are getting new lights courtesy of PG&E. The energy-efficient LED lights are solar-powered and will give pilots landing and taking off from SFO greater visibility. The voluntary project is another example of PG&E's commitment to safety.

Clovis Unified School District Reaping Benefits of Energy Efficiency

A few years ago, the Clovis Unified School District got serious about energy efficiency and made big changes at many of its 50 school sites that are now paying off. From unplugging lights and turning off computers to installing energy-efficient, motion-sensor lights in gyms, the effort has saved money and energy.

PG&E Volunteers, Students Work on Restoration Project Near Lodi Winery

PG&E volunteers and 35 students from Lodi High School recently planted native California plants, grasses and shrubs at LangeTwins Family Winery and Vineyard in Acampo. This is the second visit for the local students who will have the opportunity to see this area returned to natural habitat.

Rescued Kit Fox Now Healthy, Released at PG&E's Bakersfield Service Center

A kit fox found sick and receiving medical care for the past month -- thanks to the intervention of PG&E employees -- was healthy enough to be released back at the Bakersfield Service Center.

PG&E Welcomes the Year of the Goat with Asian-American Communities

Gung Hey Fat Choy! PG&E will be participating in Lunar New Year celebrations in San Francisco and Stockton, where it will provide Asian-American communities with information on the utility’s financial assistance, energy efficiency and safety programs.
