PG&E SPENT $2.1 BILLION WITH DIVERSE SUPPLIERS IN 2014, MORE THAN $1 BILLION WITH WOMEN-OWNED BUSINESSES
"Diversity is one of the cornerstones of PG&E's success," said President Chris Johns as the company announced it spent $2.1 billion with diverse suppliers in 2014. It was the third year in a row where the spend on diverse suppliers topped $2 billion, and the second year where the spending accounted for more than 40 percent of the utility's total spend. And, as Johns noted, "We are aiming to do more."
