HUNDREDS OF PG&E EMPLOYEES VOLUNTEER AT STATE PARKS FOR ANNUAL MONTH OF SERVICE

Hundreds of PG&E employees descended on 11 California state parks in support of the company's third annual Month of Service. At Montaña de Oro State Park in San Luis Obispo County, the volunteers spread wood chips, planted native plants and hauled away an old fence. Why? "We are part of the community," said PG&E Vice President Barry Allen.

Bakersfield: PG&E Donates to Organizations That Helped Sick Kit Fox

PG&E donated $6,500 to organizations that treated a sick kit fox recovered at the Bakersfield Service Center earlier this year and employees cleaned up an animal zoo in honor of Month of Service.
