PG&E UNVEILS 'CONNECTED' BUCKET TRUCK, ANOTHER INNOVATION FOR UTILITY FLEETS

This week, at an industry conference in Virginia, PG&E exhibited an innovative bucket truck full of high-tech and safety features. That list includes solar panels, a mobile hotspot for continuous connectivity and a software suite that helps prevent unsafe driving actions, such as speeding.

Celebrating More of California's Brightest Minds with a Cupertino Winner

A student from De Anza College in Cupertino was the latest to find out he had won a 2015 PG&E Bright Minds Scholarship, worth up to $100,000 for five years of undergraduate study. Electric engineering "is my passion," said Hiep Ton, who came to the United States from Vietnam in 2008.
