PG&E PROPOSES SMART ENERGY REFORM IN SUPPORT OF SUSTAINABLE GROWTH OF ROOFTOP SOLAR
A plan submitted by PG&E to the California Public Utilities Commission proposes new rules for smart energy reform as solar continues to grow. As part of the proposal, solar customers would gain greater control over their energy costs by reconciling bills monthly rather than once a year. PG&E, which has had a decades-long commitment to solar, is also advocating that the state count rooftop solar toward ambitious new renewable energy targets as another way to help ensure continued growth of rooftop solar.
