CURRENTS WEEK IN REVIEW: AUG. 10-14, 2015

PG&E, COMMON GROUND ALLIANCE SHARE SAFE DIGGING MESSAGE AT NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE ON 8/11

Officials from PG&E and the Common Ground Alliance rang the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange on National 811 Day and highlighted the importance of calling 811 prior to any digging project. Jesus Soto, senior vice president, PG&E Gas Operations, pounded the podium's gavel after the closing bell and used the national stage to stress safe digging. "No matter what state you live in, you can call 811 two business days before you dig to have underground utility lines located and marked for free," he said.
