PG&E JOINS NAPA EARTHQUAKE COMMEMORATION, DONATES EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRUCK

During an event this week in Napa, PG&E joined local leaders and residents to reflect on the events of a year ago and to celebrate the resiliency and strength of a community. The Napa earthquake struck Aug. 24 last year. The community is forever changed but moving forward. PG&E's Barry Anderson, vice president of emergency response and operations, marked the occasion with a gift: A next-generation emergency response truck with exportable power to help bolster the city's emergency preparedness.

Placer County: PG&E, Cal Fire Join Forces to Fight Bark Beetle during Drought

The four-year drought has created a new problem in the Sierra Foothills and other parts of California. Millions of trees, weakened by lack of water, are now falling victim to bark beetle infestation. PG&E and Cal Fire are working together to prevent damage these dead or dying trees can cause and reduce wildfire risks.

Ukiah: Antique Gas Lamp in Disrepair Gets a Facelift, Thanks to PG&E

When PG&E's Chris Nelson, a longtime gas supervisor, got a call from the county about an old, broken-down gas lamp, he went into action. Nelson, with help from the Humboldt Division Leadership Team, saw that the downtown community fixture was repaired.
