Ground was broken this week for a new training facility designed to teach PG&E's skilled workforce best-in-class safety protocols, how to use the newest technologies and provide the highest levels of customer service. At a ceremony at the site in Winters, PG&E officials joined city and community leaders to celebrate the new $75 million facility that will house 50 full-time employees when construction is complete in early 2017. The project is expected to generate up to $500,000 in new, local property tax revenue.
