CURRENTS WEEK IN REVIEW: NOV. 23-25, 2015

PG&E CREWS ANSWER MUTUAL AID REQUEST, HEAD TO NORTHWEST TO HELP WITH STORM RESTORATION

About 70 PG&E workers from the Redding, Sacramento and Sonoma areas traveled to the Northwest to help restore power to thousands of customers after a storm of historic proportions hit parts of Washington state and Idaho. The PG&E group, supported by IBEW Local 1245, included line workers, managers and safety specialists. A PG&E Mobile Command Vehicle, with high-tech communication and mapping technology, also made the trip. At one time, more than 100,000 customers were without power in the area.

Madera: Autistic Students Partner with PG&E to Deliver Artistic Energy

The first commissioned piece of art in the Madera County Government Center was unveiled this week, and it's the result of a partnership between the county, Madera High School and PG&E. The mosaic was designed and made by Madera High School's Social Skills Autism Class with financial support from PG&E.
