PG&E, in conjunction with local Boys & Girls Clubs, has launched the Summer Jobs Program. Hundreds of teens in Bakersfield, Sacramento and Fresno will get career-building skills and many of them will get jobs at local businesses this summer.

PG&E will begin providing electric service to approximately 800 former Hercules Municipal Utility (HMU) customers starting today (April 10). The acquisition by PG&E marks the end of a long process to sell HMU to a utility company with the ability to provide electric services on a more efficient, reliable and cost-effective basis.
