The San Francisco Giants and PG&E celebrate another “green” milestone at AT&T Park. A recent lighting project resulted in a home run of energy savings for AT&T Park and the Giants. In partnership with PG&E, the ballpark recently upgraded more than 556 traditional light bulbs to new energy efficient LED lights.

First responders don’t always wear uniforms. Sometimes they don colorful vests and show up in the least conspicuous places, like at a work station in an office building. That’s exactly what hundreds of employees did last week for PG&E’s annual companywide earthquake exercise.

Hundreds of underprivileged children will get the chance to start off on the right foot this school year, thanks to dozens of PG&E employees. This week, employees volunteered at My New Red Shoes in Redwood City, a local nonprofit that provides homeless and low-income Bay Area children with a brand new pair of shoes, just in time for the first day of school.
