PG&E, Picarro Demonstrate Super-Sensitive Gas Leak Technology

At an event today at Picarro’s headquarters in Santa Clara, PG&E helped demonstrate an innovative, cutting-edge technology that could lead to better detection of gas leaks. Nick Stavropoulos, PG&E’s executive vice president of gas operations, was joined by Picarro CEO Mike Woelk and U.S. Rep. Mike Honda, at the news conference.

This video explains how the Picarro technology is installed on a Chevy Volt car. Stavropoulos explains how PG&E will become the first natural-gas utility in the world to implement the Picarro Surveyor analyzer.
