As part of its public education efforts during National Preparedness Month in September, PG&E teamed up with a local Placer County fire department to put one family to the test. With little notice, the Childers family was put through a simulated wildfire evacuation and given 10 minutes to pack up their belongings and leave their home. “You think you’re ready, but are you?
