As Billy Atkins Jr. describes his PG&E journey, it began on July 20, 1952, when he left the service. “Ten days later, I’m working for PG&E. I came to work here because of the career. That’s what you wanted.” That was 70 years ago and, amazingly, Billy is still working for PG&E. Billy, now 93, is an electric technician based in Daly City. In this story, Billy gives a tour of his work space to CEO Patti Poppe and explains what has kept him at PG&E all these years.
