Kim Rush’s role as a safety professional took on new meaning in 2008 after losing her son in a tragic accident. As a Clovis-based Electric safety program manager based, Kim embraces a career calling that provides the opportunity to honor her son through daily conversations about safety with coworkers. Kim, whose journey through grief is ongoing, acknowledges the importance of not neglecting your mental well-being. She says, “If any part of how I have managed my own traumas can translate into helping a lightbulb go on for someone else… I’m here.”
