By Adrienne Moore
PG&E is committed to helping customers manage their energy expenses. Explore our money-saving programs and learn simple, practical tips to be more energy efficient and reduce monthly bills.
This week, we’re featuring two energy and cost-saving resources: Energy Efficiency DIY Tool Kit and the Watter Saver program.
PG&E encourages customers to check the Savings Center tab each week to explore additional money-saving tips and programs.
- Energy Efficiency DIY Tool Kit: You can make a few simple, budget-friendly investments at home to save you nearly $1,000 a year on your energy bills! With a $200 investment in energy-efficient materials like a Smart thermostat, LED bulbs, and low-flow showerhead, you can reduce your energy consumption and lower your monthly energy bills. All items in the tool kit can be bought at local stores or online, and when combined with our no-cost savings tips, the kit can deliver significant savings.
- WatterSaver program: This is a program available to PG&E customers that pays you to use energy when prices are lower. By enrolling in WatterSaver, you don’t have to think about savings. Your connected water heater can automatically take advantage of lower electricity rates, so water is heated at the least expensive times of day. Hot water is ready whenever you need it, without having to pay the highest electricity prices.
When you sign up, you’ll receive a $50 gift card enrollment bonus, plus an additional $5 gift card credit for every month you participate.
